    Hello All!

Are there plans to release the Black Square Add-Ons on PS5?
Is there already a planned time frame when we could expect a release on PS5 Marketplace?
I think many new flight simmers entered the community and we would love to have some good quality GA aircraft.

Not our call - that's down to Microsoft to choose which titles they feature on PS5. Meanwhile, we are still waiting for the Caravan to release on the PC Marketplace.

Okay, so if I understand correctly there is no port or recompile required to get the planes running on PS5?
JF/BS already tested them on PS5 and they would run, from a performance/optimasation standpoint?
Its also apllied to be released, but MS/Sony is slow to release them?

          @flozzi001

From what we understand it worketh thus:

Microsoft selects a title - from content already available on MarketPlace and presumably already XBox compatible.

We are notified of the selection, but not sure how long after they have made their choice. Also, there are no guarantees that the title will release - we are just told that they are considering it.

They do some work on the title. Absolutely no idea exactly what is involved but, from our experience with publishing PS and XBox games in the distant past, it should definitelty require some coding/porting and recompiling etc.

Microsoft announces that work at their end is complete and make available a test build for us to check on PS5.
We check it and, assuming all OK, we notify MS.

They cast the runes during a midnight ceremony at an undisclosed location near Seattle. A MacBook Air is sacrificed and the title is then ready for release.

We are notified by a customer, who has accidentally stumbled across it, that the title is now available on PS5 and so we are then able to announce said availability on social media and the like.

Wow, thats an unwieldy process if I ever saw one.
It´s a little sad to be honest, in many forums I read that people, myself included, are really wishing for your products te be released on PS5.
Thank you very much for your time and the detailed explanaition.

So the process hasn´t started yet and even if it had, a crystal ball would give me the best estimate available on the release date.
