Any hints at what is to be expected with the next update for the Bonanza and Baron Pro series?

Just curious as to what is in store for us. I hope there is an update for these aircraft as there are a few things that need to be tweaked. Honestly between the Bonanza and the TBM, I don't really fly anything else and I cant wait to see what is in the works!

Each have about a page-long changelog right now. Mostly little fixes, but also a couple minor new features. Sorry I don't post my changelogs ahead of time. I like to get as much right the first time as I can, so I don't want to post something that's still in flux, and hasn't been checked over yet before release. Glad to hear that you're excited for my usual round of updates in the summertime as usual, though

I'm also very excited!
Did the SU5 features cause some delays by any chance?

Aircraft Engines - Added optional dependency of constant-speed propeller blade pitch change rate on oil pressure. See SDK for details. - Added support for two types of propeller RPM limiter: - Pitch angle governor–based (for constant-speed propellers only) - Fuel flow governor–based (for turboprop engines only) - The limiter is configured via newly added parameters in the [PROPELLER] section of the engine.cfg file. See SDK for details. - Aircraft - Fixed an issue that caused Persistent Variables to not get saved when going back to the main menu. It's not like we are missing out on things; the Bonny is amazing. Check out this example of how good it is.
I recently experienced my first unscheduled gyro failure.
So, when I'm flying GA in MSFS, I don't fly the magenta line, radio-nav all the way!
Nevertheless, I drifted a bit far from my original course and wanted to get back.
There was a distant VOR I could pick up. Signal degradation would cause the HSI to wobble, but at least it was something.
The autopilot was enabled to keep the bird straight and level while inspecting the charts. The plane kept wobbling a bit, but I assumed this was due to the signal degradation. Well, I was wrong. The wobble was due to the gyro spinning down. This, in turn, would cause the plane to ... spin down
. It took me a few seconds, a few *cough* hundreds of feet, to stabilize the situation.
Eventually, I could fly back to land with the help of the standby gyro pump.Back in time for a beautiful sunset.
@Black-Square Thanks for the above experience, the look-and-feel (and sound), the signal degradation of the VOR, the gyroscopic physics, the failures

Those SDK changes seem promising to my untrained eye, hopefully they're a step towards fixing things in the sim like how you can't reduce RPM in the TBM and compensate with torque; you'll just bleed off airspeed anyway.
Of course, I'm sure they're subject to change without notice (or documentation) until SU5 drops
