Engine Failure

Has anyone else experienced engine failure with seemingly no reason?
Running normally in the cruise, plenty of fuel and then get the standard FS2024 Engine Malfunction message and it runs down.
No active failures shown on the tablet and health good.
Also had similar whilst idling on the ground.Trying to restart on the ground doesn't work, even if a repair engine is done. Normal start indications until you introduce fuel - brief indication of fuel flow on gauge and tablet but then stops (no fuel flow indicated), engine rpm also drops to just below 10pc Ng on the starter when fuel is in low idle, recovers in shut off.
No overtemp/torque noticed. Any ideas?

I just experienced the same scenario…. Flying over the Okavango Delta doing logistic run to the various camps on my next to final leg, all temps in the green, torque and rpm within limits and plenty of fuel, the MSFS engine failure pop up popped up. Tablet showed the engine at 80% but no faults. Could not restart even after doing repairs both on the tablet and wx radar . Exited out of the flight and started a new flight but this time the engine showed 20% health in the tablet. Did a repair and the flight proceeded without any further problems.
No idea what caused the first failure

Mee too. Had to turn off msfs engine failures. There is something weird. Even it triggered a failure later on the asobo c152 which should not happened….

This would be very important information, if true.
It would also be very important for me to know if anyone has seen this in MSFS 2020, or just 2024.
I've spent the last few hours scouring the Caravan for anything that could be the cause of this. The parameters that the simulator uses for failure-adjacent features, (like overspeed, and engine failures) are entirely undocumented, and often scattered in obscure configuration files, so I've been looking at everything I can possibly think of, but I've also never seen this happen in any of my aircraft myself.
