TBM 850 Not Logging Engine Hours
-
Hello,
I recently purchased the TBM 850, and am loving it. However, the persistent condition does not seem to be working. If I damage the engine, exit the flight, and load in again it will jump right back to 100%. Additionally, I have logged roughly 20 hours on the plane. Every time I get back in, the HOBBS meter resets to 0. The persistent condition was a big reason for getting this aircraft, is there a way to fix this issue?
I exit the sim via the quit to desktop every time. Please advise.

There are many other threads you can read on this forum and the MSFS Official Forums about this, but in short, Asobo introduced a bug into MSFS 2024 with SU4 that completely broke state saving for all aircraft that use the same method as mine do. We have talked about it at length on the developer forum, so hopefully we will have a solution with SU5.
In the meantime, here is a workaround posted elsewhere on this forum, which does seem to be working for the time being: "End your flight, start a new flight, then exit the game once loaded in, and that may cause things to save correctly." Sorry for the inconvenience! Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you while we're waiting for a solution.
