GTN750 TDS & PMS installed, but TDS always loads as default

I have both the TDS and PMS GTN750 installed. However, I’ve noticed that the TDS version always loads as the default. Several times I manually selected the PMS version and completed the entire flight using it, but on the next flight the sim defaults back to the TDS GTN750 again.
Is there a way to make the PMS version the default GTN750 on aircraft startup?
