[MSFS 2024] Fuel Range

Hello. I recently discovered this amazing addon, thank you so much for a truly excellent piece of work. However I do have one grumble with the fuel range.
Last night I set off from Western Australia to Ayres Rock. YBNA -> YAYE. A flight that should just have been within the fuel range. Indeed the tablet told me there was sufficient range still right up to the point the engine died from fuel starvation 5.5 miles from the airfield! At that point the tablet said there was still 50nm of range left.
I guess the usable fuel in the tank is not equal to the actual fuel in the tank, but it would be helpful if the tablet gave this information accurately, for those of us who like to ignore fuel reserve restrictions
Thankfully my leet piloting skillz got us on the ground in one piece, but my pax were not happy to walk the last 5 miles to the FBO. I did not get a tip.
