ALT selector problem

Hello,
i have a problem with the alt selctor knob, when i turn it or i select the VS, nothing happens, i can only change the altitude via the DN UP switch of the AP but i cant change the alt or vs thru the rotatin knob, this is on MSFS 2020 1.39.9.0Thanks for the help.

Hm. That's a new one. You're saying that you rotate the knob with your mouse wheel or the clickspots in the simulator and the number does not change at all? Could it possibly be a hardware conflict with something that's spamming the same variables?

yeah im turning the switch and nothing happens, i can only change it thru that up down ap switch, and i havent changed my hardware i still have the same joystick, it never did this to me before its very strange i already reinstalled the addon but still the same

Oh, I have an idea! Did you download an old mod to improve the appearance of some of the fonts and instruments for the TBM? I think I notice some things in your screenshot that might indicate that. If so, I believe it overwrote some of the instrument files that might have been updated in the latest version of the TBM. I hope it's that simple! Let me know if that sounds familiar to you!

Have you tried it without those liveries installed? Perhaps one of them includes this mod?
If you take a look here, you will see that the GPS annunciator buttons match the mod, as does the font on the annunciator panel, and the LCD font on the KAS 297B itself. This is why screenshots are so helpful, even when the problem doesn't seem to be "screenshottable", so thank you so much for including one!
