chocks and external power wont stay engaged

when selecting chocks or external power in the tablet, it engages on the tablet initially however it disengages and the chocks or external power disappears.
not sure if im doing anything wrong?

Slightly different issue. The loading phase in MSFS 2024 is a bit different (and wilder from a physics standpoint) according to Nick, so the chocks are being added and then removed because the plane is moving while loading in.
What I suspect is happening to OP here is similar; it has been seen here before that sufficiently high winds will trigger Nick's code to remove the external power and chocks because the plane is in "motion," but it's just because the weather is bad.

I am in calm weather, and after landing, the chocks remain set, but external power cannot be attached. via the EFB it indeed disengages after a short moment. While in 2024, I also tried to attach it via the walkaround mode, but while it was possible prior to departure, after arrival it refuses to connect.
