Not seeing the copilot when I chose to show them in the EFB options ?
-
Hello,
Not a big issue but something maybe I am missing and someone could explain how to fix. I don't see the copilot in the cockpit after I select to see him in the interior in the EFB. I know in the past there was a secret click spot that would make them visible, if that is why where is it. I don't see any reference to this option in the plane's manual.
Thanks for taking time to respond to this post.

I have discussed this elsewhere, but the pilot/passenger models are one of the two biggest regressions for me as a developer in MSFS 2024. I no longer have control of the model's visibility, dynamic location, rotation, or scaling. This means that the models are almost guaranteed to clip through the cabin walls, the ceiling, panel, yokes, etc., and sometimes completely out of the airframe itself. I find this to be an unacceptable compromise that cheapens the appearance of my aircraft. It is relatively simple to mod in these characters yourself, but I am still hoping that we can convince Asobo to fix this issue so that I can better control the characters as a developer.

I'm curious if the copilot is so problematic, why in the tablet in the planes are you giving an option to turn the copilot models on or off ? Should have just not made it an option ?

for Bonanza adding my code from here: https://community.justflight.com/post/41908 resolving issue and copilot looks ok, but I can't make copilot on/off regarding removing front seat mass from EFB. So maybe there is a time to check it again by Dev. I wonder if it would also be possible to introduce characters sitting in the back like in Carenado products.

@SebAvi See my previous message on why I have chosen not to do this until Asobo gives us better options for character placement, rotation, and scaling.
@Vinyl Rabbit The option is there from MSFS 2020 where I was able to control character visibility and placement. You're right that I should have removed this option for MSFS 2024, but I was initially hoping that there would be a fix from Asobo within a year of release. I have already removed this option in MSFS 2024 for my next updates for the sake of clarity.

In MSFS2024 You need to load passengers and crew via the ATC Ground menu.
First You need to load the Co-pilot and Passengers in the MSFS2024 EFB Payload menu, then call "Ground" and ask for boarding.Look here:
