...\Community\bksq-aircraft-baronpro\effects\bksq_Baron_Glareshield.fxsearch forColor Start=, andColor End=. Change both of these lines to the RGB color of your choosing.255, 15, 15, 10is the color I use for the Duke. This won't change the color of the electroluminescent panel under the glareshield, however. For that, you would have to do a little image editing. The file in question is...\Community\bksq-aircraft-baronpro\SimObjects\Airplanes\bksq-aircraft-baronpro\Texture\BARON_SOLIDEMISSIVES_EM.PNG.KTX2, but this has become unfortunately difficult in MSFS 2024 with a proprietary version of a proprietary texture format... If you want to do some searching and give this a shot yourself, I'm happy to help along the way! -

No problem! Let me know what else I can do for you. Ordinarily, I would have even done that image edit for you, but the forums are now really picky about what sizes and format image files you can upload, and the MSFS 2024 situation takes a 30 second project and turns it into a 5 minute project. It's killing me, though, because I want the colors to match for you!

I did it for you, but the forum says "Input file contains unsupported image format". What a pain. If you want a red glareshield, contact Just Flight Support, and they can hand you the file for me. I hope you do, because it will make me happy on the inside
I'm just sad that I can't upload files like that to easily share with anyone else who might want the modification here. -

Do they still have the DM/chat feature here on the forums? I once had an FDE send me an early look at some flight model changes before they were patched in in response to some concerns about crosswind handling and that's how we got around that.
@jmarkows Nope. I seem to recall that these restrictions were added to comply with European Union rules, but don't quote me on that.

Just a quick note on some of the forum features being restricted at the moment. For whatever reason, recently we have been getting a load of spam and other undesirable behavior and have had to lock down DMs, add some post approval for new members and restrict what can be uploaded.
It seems to be dying down so hopefully we can relax things again soon.In the meantime, Nick if you want to email the file to me, I can post it here for anyone who might want it.
