I believe it is meant to be like that as due to the 2024 avatars not being able to move in the cockpit. It is in the patch notes ...

    • Fixed copilot not animating with seat - Cockpit seat positions are now locked in MSFS 2024 due to simulator limitation that prevents the pilot characters from moving with them.

@Mark Hi! I am flying the F28 v2.2 on SU4, I want to report that the seats are not moving - I can hear them move but the animation does not work. The same happens with the RJ professional. You can drag the seat but the snap back into the original place. Is this a SU4 beta issue?

@neucoas You managed to load the F28 V2.2 on SU4?? Can any JF staff confirm that it is indeed compatible? I have an issue where I'm trying to load into it and it never fully loads.

@Woolies Oh yeah! That explains it, thank you.

@MPilotD Yes, I was able to fly the v2.2 in SU4. I had some issues with the installation, getting a "licence check failed", but managed to solve it by uninstalling, clearing the WASM folders and installing again. Did a single flight and everything seemed to work just fine.

SU4 is a great improvement in terms of performance and night lightning. I rather not fly an incompatible plane than rolling back to SU3

V2.2 works perfectly for me in SU4. However it is a beta and no addon aircraft should be expected to work or be supported until SU4 goes live.

@MPilotD it's also working perfectly for me on SU4. On my first load-in, I experienced a CTD during the initial compile, but since then it's been fine. I would maybe try deleting the WASM folder first, then reinstalling, and if that doesn't work, chalk it up to luck of the draw on the beta.

@MPilotD We aren't aware of any issue with the F28 in SU4, however, we officially don't support any of our products on the MSFS Sim Update betas. The Sim Update betas are beta releases, so bugs are expected, and it would be a full-time job in itself to keep all our products fully compatible with each beta update.

Once SU4 fully releases later this year, we'll take stock and provide any necessary changes/fixes to our products to ensure compatibility.

Our best recommendations at the moment would be to perform a full clean reinstall of the product to ensure that it has installed correctly:

              1. Uninstall the product using the installer.
              2. Delete any leftover justflight-aircraft-F28 folders in your Community folder.
              3. Download a fresh installer from Your Account of the store you purchased the F28 from
              4. Run the fresh installer through

@MPilotD I just learned from someone else who couldn't load the F28 in SU4 beta that GSX turned out to be the issue for them, so if you're using GSX maybe try without it?

@RPGamerous @everyone. Hit the nail on the head.... unfortuantely my inifnite-load was caused by GSX. Anybody else having this issue can follow the steps listed in this forum post. Apologies for bringing another addon's bug into this thread, but could be of help for anyone stuck loading the F28. Thank you Just Flight for updating this wonderful airplane. Can't wait for the F70/100 series.
