Ear Discomfort Index

One of the many new features introduced with the Starship, and since introduced with some of your other planes on their 2024 updates (TBM850 fx), is the "Ear Discomfort Index".
With the Starships cabin able to take quite a high differential pressure, and not climbing too fast once starting to get up high, it is never really an issue.
On the Turbine Duke however, you can't have this large differential pressure, and it will absolutely rocket up to something like FL240.
In my experience this has required cabin rates of ~1000 fpm unless you slow the climb, which will be up in the uncomfortable range.
So I hope that this discomfort index might still get introduced to the Duke at some later point. -
Believe it or not, the only reason I didn't include this in the Dukes was that I couldn't make room on the cabin visualizer. I tried, but it's stuffed! Any asymmetry amongst my aircraft irritates me, so I will try to find somewhere to add it in the future.

@Black-Square As a future improvement on the topic, have you given any thought to an audio or visual cue outside of the tablet?
As far as I'm aware the only way to know if there's discomfort is the tablet page itself, but it's admittedly been a bit since I've read that part of the manual.
EDIT: bonus point if an audio cue comes through the MSFS "Communications" channel/device.

I hadn't heard of this feature as I don't own the TBM or Starship (though did watch all the official videos), but sounds interesting.
No thanks to tinnitus; I've had that the last 25 years already! (Optional is fine of course.)
Utilising the headphone muting effect, perhaps the sounds could be slowly dulled until you simulate 'popping' your ears with a click-spot. Ha, I'm starting to think we're taking simulations a little too far these days. The mere fact we're talking about it shows how far simulators have come though! -

I actually thought of this too. It would be a lot of fun, but as you can imagine, I'm always worried about our many niche features resulting in confusion for the more casual users.
