Request: Accurate yoke animation?
-
Once again, thanks for this awesome aircraft.
However, I have a request: Are there plans to add accurate yoke animation to the Starship or any other Black Square aircraft?
As you know, most MSFS aircraft have inaccurate yoke animation, where the position of the yoke/stick doesn't move in sync/linearly with the actual stick input or the actual control surfaces in the sim. In practice, it appears like the controls have very aggressive curves, with a very small movement around center, which rapidly speeds up at extreme deflection angles. This happens even with no curves applied in the control settings, affects only the visual yoke movement (i.e the control surfaces on the aircraft move accurately with stick input) and is AFAIK a default MSFS behaviour. Most of the time, this makes it appear like the yoke moves very little even when it should move a lot. This has been 'fixed' in several add-ons (for example A2A Comanche, CAS J-3 Cub and Fokker F28). In these aircraft, the position of the yoke matches the control surfaces and the control input.
As the rest of the Starship is so accurately modelled, do you have plans to correct this animation? To me, it would greatly improve immersion when hand flying.
