Feathered Propeller Animation

Do you have any tips on when to adjust feather during flight phases? What setting do you want for extracting maximum speed during cruise? What do you want for max efficiency during cruise?
I have a feeling there might be a chart somewhere for this.

The actual feather setting is only for start and shut down. As for prop pitch. The manual has your answer. I suspect there may be more settings, but the base is. Full forward (1700 RPM) for takeoff, then bring it back to 1600 for the remainder of the flight. Remember to keep ITT's below 840.

Do you keep your ITT lower by reducing the throttle as you change the pitch?

@Marionettework ITT is unaffected by prop pitch, the general procedure is power levers then props mainly to mitigate the risk of an over torque. Also Max Cruise seems to fall at an ITT of ~835-840C and normal cruise is 830C

@MD82 I agree with your observation on the feather animation.
As I recall, this has traditionally been very difficult to do natively in the FS architecture. I believe Majestic, back in the day, had to do a custom prop animation to get the coarse disc looking accurate from the side when feathered.
This currently might be a FS24 limitation, although I hear it now has new tools for improving the realism of our beloved spinny parts...
