    Hi,
The RPM goes up and up on the ground in reverse if I move my throttle back slowly from full reverse and just wait.
If I go over some throttle settings it jumps back towards a normal RPM, but if I move my throttle back it starts to increase again. It goes up to a crazy RPM, higher as I decrease reverse thrust, and after a while it stops inreasing.
I don't have any failures (except the engine health is decreasing), I use MSFS2020, don't use any 3rd party tool to bind my throttles, which is a Honeycomb Bravo, and I bind the "Hold throttle reverse thrust" to a switch and move the "Throttle n Axis" forward.
    Is it a known issue?

      Maybe connected to this

said in Reverse thrust does not seem to work right after engine start:

      Hi Nick @Black-Square,
when playing with the reverse thrust and the wind, my button had a little hickup and my RPM of the Props went up really far. I tried to reproduce it like you can see here. It's not a major issue, as you should not be doing that anyway, but I thought you probably would want to know.

So for maximum Power and toggeling reverse thrust when ITT and torque builds up, makes the props spin really fast. It would not happen for lower power settings.

I am not sure if you also implied that here:

Fascinating. I have found that prop_reverse_max_vel is not respected with all engine model configurations in 2020 and 2024, but I didn't know that it factored in the apparent wind.

      Kind regards

Known issue. At -4% specifically the rpm becomes unrestricted. See: https://community.justflight.com/post/38905

This is a great example of what I have to do to tame the MSFS engine/propeller modeling, by the way. Yet one more special condition I have to monitor for, and manually take control of the propeller speed. I'll take a look at it, though.

            @ProfCrash it's not only 4%.
I am basically toggling full reverse thrust and it still runs away. Or I missunderstood the other post.

I misunderstood your post. Our issues have the same outcome but different starting points. My apologies.

@ProfCrash no need to appologize. I always try to get the Info bundled for Black Square. No hard feelings on my side, i hope I did not unintentionally stepp on your toes. Yes, I think same outcome and different settings. Maybe same cause though.

                Best regards

My toes are fully intact! I'm very excited for the next starship update!

I played with it yesterday, and I found that the RPM eventually stopped running away, and it was inversely connected to the reverse thrust, it stopped at a lower RPM when my throttle was around 90% than when it was 20%. As soon as I retarded the throttle too much, I think maybe 10%, it fell back to a normal rpm. The second screenshot was around the limit, around the highest RPM.
