@Black-Square do you plan to add more options for state saving?

    • Can we preserve the passengers and payload between flights? I'm always filling in the same numbers every single flight. Make it optional if you're not sure?
    • Can we have optional state-saving of all the swtiches/buttons? As one user in the MSFS Forum put it, "otherwise pre-flight checks feel like empty rituals". I totally agree with that, I've long ago stopped doing the long checklists because you can be 100% sure the aircraft is always in the correct state, and you might as well use that extra time for flying rather than going through useless lists.

      1. This should already be working, though it appears that some users computers never save the data. I've been struggling with this issue for as long as I've been making aircraft. It also might be stunted in MSFS 2024 by the "navigation graph" feature when you get in/out of the aircraft.

      2. I literally just made a post about this 30 seconds ago.

How do I help troubleshoot this? This has never worked for me in 2024.

It's never worked for me, either, but I thought the manual said while the code has been implemented to do so, it doesn't work because of a long-standing bug in MSFS.

It works fine for me in 2020, but not in 2024.

I just spent some time testing this. Fuel state saving is working in 2024, but the payloads are being reset every time use use the enter/exit aircraft feature in MSFS 2024. It's hard for me to describe how poorly conceived that system is. I think I found an unintended solution to the problem. I'll see if I can propagate that to all my aircraft.

I've been meaning to ask; for purposes of state saving, is there a difference between Exit Flight and Quit to Menu in MSFS 24?
