While the displays got sooo much love, the inner windshield needs a bit more love ๐Ÿ™‚
Currently I could not find any details, how can be sure it is even built in? ๐Ÿ™‚ Just joking, the temp and pressure would not work if not!

There is quite some love from the outside seen (enlarge for details):

I would caution about crazing the windows (last picture) that is a product on a single layer plastic that is cracking and does not occur on glass laminate windshields. I actually think the external artifacts on the windows are a bit overdone, I never had a multi-layer laminate that displayed any degradation on the external pane like what is shown.

the effect you see in the last pic is kind of only visible in very special light situations and I agree, it might feel a bit overdone. However I know โ€žreal lifeโ€œ windshield with some of that effect as well.
What I intended to mention with the discussion here is that Starships windshield seems too clean

Its not too clean, most private aircraft get cleaned quite regularly. I never saw a dirty windshield on any king air or G4 I flew. The only time i had a dirty windshield was flying the CRJ when they may fly 16 - 20 hours a day and may go a month or so between getting into a hangar. Remember this is a high expense low time asset, they are taken very good care of. Planes like this may only see 150-200 hours a year and 600 hours a year would be very high approaching charter levels of travel. A CRJ may see upwards of 6000 hours a year.

So I'm not sure if it is the same for the Starship, but given so many other similarities it maybe similar to the mid king air.
When the windscreen heat is on in the king air, the view is a lot more hazy. This remains till it's turned off.
If Nick really wants to push the boat out, if the windscreen heat is off and you let it cold soak and then turn on. One of the layers of the glass will shatter..

Guys, lets not debate wether a windshield can go dirty or not.
Even if it was the cleanest windshield of all, you would at least based on some reflections notice its existence. I will in the starship you do not notice anything from the inside view, however, it has plenty of artifacts on the outside view (which makes it a bit mysterious :))
