Ok , so I just got a failure of the left engine indicators. Now what is the procedure: There is no reversionary mode for it right? Just the left eninge data source has failed, no backup, right?I am very curious what would be the procedure in the starship

Not able to load in and look myself, but I think if you use the ENG reversionary mode on one of the RTUs you can still get the critical information.

But a diversion seems to be in order at the very least.

EDIT: yes, seems like both of the engine data units failed on the left engine. Check page 69 in the manual and use the ENG Data mode on one of the RTUs.

The RTU ENG L is blank too 🙂 Seems like a tough decision ahead

Let me know what the Failures tab on the tablet says whenever you go look at it, the manual seemed to think that would cover an Engine Data Concentrator/duel Data Acquisition Unit failure 😂

I think the issue here is that the EDC failed, not only the DAU. As the manual says, if the DAU fails, there is the RTU rev. mode. In the first case there is not. Avionics status shows failure of EDC CONC 1A, the breaker is popped

Mmm yeah, I read that section a bit differently, but your reading of it makes more sense.
