In the Starship, passenger weights are modifiable to 10's of lbs. In SB, you can leave a passenger plus baggage weight to anything you like. Default is 175+55 lbs is 230 lbs per passenger. Assuming you leave that as is, and you take 3 passengers plus 175 of cargo, your breakdown after generating an OFP is 3 passengers plus 340 lbs of cargo. (3x 55 lb passenger bags) + 175 lbs of cargo. Total payload would be 865 lbs. (340 lbs of cargo + 3x passengers @ 175 lbs).

To set this amount of payload in the Starship, click on the pilot and 2 other seats. They will be 170 lbs each default (510 lbs). Now change the weight of 1 of the three for example to 180 lbs with the arrows. Your total passenger weight is now (170+170+180) is 520 lbs whereas in SB it was 525. That remaining 5 lbs you just add to the cargo. 5+340 is 345 lbs of cargo in the back. And just like that, you have matched the payload between SB and the Starship. The Zero Fuel Weight should now match. The Gross Weight will match if you put the same amount of fuel in it as SB says.

      • I am assuming the empty weight in SIM matches the Starship. I will do so on my next flight.

      • Instead of messing around with passenger weights, you may also opt to change the default SB passenger weight to 170 lbs as well. Up to you. This makes it easier, as 1 pax in SB would be the same as the Starship default passenger weight.

I think the simbrief profile empty weight is very slightly more (10085lbs) than in the manual 10055lbs...Not sure if you already know but importing the flightplan from SimBrief via the in sim panel often causes issues with the Starship flight planner so I've been avoiding using that for now.
        Cheers

So, after some tests, here is what I have come up with. I will share my aircraft profile. You can use it as a basis for yours if you want. But it's just to explain my rationale. And pardon my OCD beforehand 😉

          Starship 2000 PJ-LMS - Current setup only

So, (1) I have checked the empty weight via the EFB, I have noted (2) the maximum cargo weight from the placard. I have noted (3) the maximum fuel in pounds that can be loaded onto the airplane. I noted (4) that I can set 0 lbs of fuel in the EFB, even though (From real Starship manuals) the unusable fuel amount is 38 lbs.. I noted (5) that the Starship is in principle a single pilot approved airplane, so the co-pilot's seat can be regarded as a passenger seat. Leaving 8 other seats open. I noted (6) that the maximum fuel tank capacity is 3786 lbs.. Lastly, I noted (7) my own weight of 195 lbs..

Taking this information into consideration, I modified the total amount of passengers, the maximum cargo weight, the empty weight given my own weight and the total fuel capacity. I have also edited the passenger and baggage weight to something more sensical for a General Aviation flight. Also, I did my best to modify the equipment codes to try and match a non-GPS equipped airplane.

Now with regards to the unusable fuel. It's a bit of a quagmire. If I add these 38 lbs. to the empty weight in SimBrief, the gross weight, assuming I match the fuel, passenger and cargo weights in SIM will be off by 38 lbs. because the base empty weight of the Starship in SIM does not have it. SimBrief, on the other hand, does not have a field for unusable fuel, and if I disregard this value, whatever SimBrief says your total fuel should be for a flight, you'll be 38 lbs short because it will be unsable.
So, the best I could do, is add 38 lbs as EXTRA fuel as basic. This is the unusable fuel. The only thing you would need to note is that this amount does not in actual, count towards your total fuel endurance.

This fact, including basic notes of all that is described above, I have written as "Dispatcher Remarks" of the profile. I am planning to fly a 3-hour leg later today. Hopefully I can validate my profile as correct and valid.

Once again, I apologize for my OCD 😅

p.s. No, I never import SimBrief flight plans in the Starship. What is the fun in that!?

          Cheers!

Thanks to everyone for the valuable info, I’ll try to read through it calmly tonight... I admit that due to the language and technical terms (write from Italy), I’m struggling a bit to understand in practice what I need to input from my OFP... I’ll give it a try, I’ve already downloaded the profile, and thanks!!!!!

No problem. I used the profile, and it worked beautifully. Everything matched to within 5 lbs. Can't get closer because the Starship only does 10's of pounds.
