    Hello dear Team,

one question: where do I find the TAT ( for the purpose to evaluate icing conditions )?

I‘ve found an OAT-Indicator but it always reflects the SAT which is found on the FMS PROG page.

    Thank you and best regards.

The standard RJ fleet doesn't have a TAT Indicator. It does in-fact measure TAT via a probe for various systems, but it's not displayed to the Crew.
We can only see the OAT indication as you have found.

      Cheers,

        Hello Ryan,

        interesting!

How do 146 / RJ Pilots actually assess icing conditions then?

Thank you for your reply and best regards.

          Found it in the FCOM:

iOAT is used in lieu of TAT.

Correct. The OAT gauge has a factor applied to it, but it's still not a true TAT nor SAT. It's as basic as it gets!

            Cheers,
