ETM Destination Function Blank
-
I have a fresh installation of the sim, the plane, everything. I've chosen the TBM as one of the planes to start with, and while I knew it would be a blast like it was the last time I flew it, parts of the ETM aren't working.
Specifically, the Time, Distance, and Fuel to destination (fuel at destination seems to work OK). Time and distance to next waypoint works fine.
I've been loading into the plane and programming a flight into the WT GNS530, with the 530 as the primary and a radio stack for the secondary.
I have not tried loading in with a flight plan from the world map. I am also not swapping avionics; I changed to the 530 and radio once and have since restarted the sim and still have the issue.
It's not major, but has anyone else seen it or know what's up?

To add to this, I did a VATSIM flight from KSUS to KBNA with the plan being KSUS PLESS5 BNA KBNA. I took off as normal, but was vectored around before being cleared direct BNA, so I plugged that into the 530.
Destination was still blank, but waypoint never changed from STL VOR the entire flight despite selecting Direct BNA from the plan page.

From the manual, you will find a note on the ETM:
"Regarding this specific aircraft, the ETM Engine Trend Monitor includes many more navigation
and fuel planning features than the EDM800/760 for reciprocating engine Black Square Aircraft.
One of these features has proven difficult to integrate with 3rd party GPS units, because they do
not all use the native flight planner. Specifically, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) to waypoints
and the destination may not possess the correct timezone offset in all conditions. As
development continues on these 3rd party products, Black Square will continue to work with the
developers to update the fleet, and bring you the most realistic flying experience possible."I think I wrote this note before I had fully explored the compatibility, and found that the GNS 530 was missing a considerable amount of information, which may have even depended on how the flight plan was loaded. I will revisit this after MSFS 2024 is released, since that might carry some avionics updates to the GNS 530, which could hopefully be retroactive.
