Landing Light Serious Texture Glitch

See the last 2 minutes of the below video for a look at a glitch that appears to make the landing light move around. I think it is due to the rain.

Wow, never seen anything like that before.
However I can reproduce the bug. Appears in rain day/night, but not in snow or no precipitation.

I actually know what causes that. Thanks for pointing it out. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been like that since release, actually. I'll fix it right now.
EDIT: It's actually not what I thought... I think it's the same mechanism, but the fix is not obvious. I'll look into it more later.

I figured it out. It was a Blender eccentricity that I've encountered before.
