Can't turn on External Power

    I just did a flight, parked and shutdown on the ramp. I tried to turn on External power to work on the aircraft mappings so I wouldn't drain the battery. I toggle it on and. after a couple of seconds, it turns back off.

      @seipp There has to be ground power available at that particular parking spot, and your parking brake or wheel chocks have to be set. More here:

        @Randolf Thanks Rando. I hope that's something that can be changed someday. You can't really know where to park in order to make groundpower available. I suppose I could tow it around until I found a spot but that's not super realistic.

          Just experienced this myself. I was definitely not parked on a parking spot. I agree with @seipp that the restriction should only be chocks or brakes, to accommodate airports with crap parking design.
