Dukification of my mobile cockpit is nearly done. I love this gem of a plane. 😍
The "L:var_alternatorLoad_R/L" variables etc. are not currently in this build as far as I see.
Are these planned for a patch or should I simply implement the Baron solution?

Yay! I love when people share pictures of their cockpits! I'm so glad I could get some of those features working for you for my other aircraft. Ah, it appears the variable for the Dukes just has a slightly different name: "L:var_CorrectedGeneratorAmps_L". Good luck, and happy flying!

"L:var_CorrectedGeneratorAmps_L/R" are working as intended 🙂
I figured "(L:var_correctedBusVolts, volts)" should be the volts.

The lower Amp Value is "(A:ELECTRICAL MAIN BUS AMPS, amps)".
It goes up to over 200 Amps with the RPM so with the alternators. Does this value makes sense?

And the right Prop Heater only gives a short spike in power consumption, but then pulls nothing.
Other consumers looking fine so far.

The whole point of this little cramped cockpit is the mobility. I only need one USB and one 5V power port to plug the whole thing in. 😀

    Glad it's working!

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest using some of the native electrical variables. The various flight sim development teams over the years have apparently never employed an electrical engineer to fix their electrical simulation. Loads are often incorrectly calculated and multiplied when connected to multiple buses.

That being said, there really isn't a correct value for what you're looking for in this case. The power required for all the equipment on the aircraft must either come from the generators or the battery, so when the engines are running at high RPM, the sum of the loads between them is the total current draw in the aircraft. If I were implementing the beautiful setup you currently have (it is lovely small and portable! Those are also some great looking pedals) I would make your amp reading the battery charge/discharge current. This way, you can see if the batteries are being charged by the generators, or if the generators are not producing enough power and the battery is supplementing their supply. The battery load in amps (can be positive or negative) is L:var_correctedBatteryLoad, amps).

I hope that all makes sense! Keep me posted.

"L:var_correctedBatteryLoad, amps" working perfectly fine. 🙂 Thank you...
Now the EDM values are all there. I think I will add flaps and maybe cowl flaps positions an then I can publish that.
Only the CHT/EGT variables are a bit off... as you can see in my other post.
