Piston Duke NA

Congratulations on a great aircraft.
This is all on me as I should have read the info before purchase, but I presumed the non-turbine Duke would be the normally aspirated version. Is there any chance we might see that in the future? It was my favourite in FSX and I find the Turbo's a little 'easy' to manage.
Many thanks

I might be confused about what you're asking for here. I'm unaware that a normally aspirated Duke existed at any point in history. Managing a turbocharged engine is also substantially more involved than a normally aspirated engine. Could you clarify what you're looking for, please?

I believe the Realair version years ago, plus some videos I've seen on Youtube were non- turbo. You would have to manage MP and lean as you climb etc. just as you do with your non- turbo Baron, bonanza.
I could be mistaken of course and obviously you'll know a lot more about these things than me! -
Thanks for clarifying. I can't speak for the RealAir version, but I'm fairly certain that there has never been a real world normally aspirated Duke. It was built as a pressurized cabin high altitude aircraft right from the beginning.
That being said... in my constant strive to provide custom solutions for my users, you could make this modification on your end without substantial difficulty. It's not as easy as some modifications I provide for users, but possible. Let me know if you want me to walk you through it. In the meantime, you could also just trigger a dual turbocharger failure in the failure menu of the tablet interface, and you will have yourself a normally aspirated aircraft!

love the moment, after more than 20 yrs flightsim you think you know everything, and on the end got to look for the checklist haha
