For a while people were talking about the engine sounds changing, as if you are in a tube or tunnel. I've had this a few times lately and for the second time noticed the torque changes with this sound. I can be sitting at 115 on the torque, one notch below red line, 850 mode on and IS open. The sound will change and torque will drop immediately to around 100, and I think it even surpassed red line for this reason once. If I readjust the power lever the issue resolves. I have no spikes in my hardware and this is the only plane that this anomaly happens in. No other Black Square or any payware has sound or engine fluctuations. What is going on here?

I don't have anything else to say about this right now, but I did explain what causes this in a previous post, in case you didn't see it.

I'll spend an evening looking for a solution to this soon, but like I said in that post, I'm not sure there is much that can be done without creating an external application. I hope it's not too disruptive, though. If it is, you can send me a video, and perhaps I can see if there is something else going on.

Ahh, I didn't see that post. No worries, it's not the end of the world.
