Control Legacy Mode

Hi,

More of a general MSFS question I guess, but you guys are knowledgeable!

Is it possible to increase the selection rate (mouse rolling or dragging HDG for example) when using Legacy mode?
I prefer this mode because I don't like the blue highlighting in lock mode, but changing selections takes so long!
