TBM 850 sound.

Something is wrong with engine sound. Hard to describe.
Could be caused by my sound set. The subwoofer is made of plastic, and there is a resonance in it. At cruise I have to turn the subwoofer off and reduce prop RPM.
Guess you BlackSquare guy is a friend with another hero in design Raul (FSReborn).
Maybe you can buy/borrow his turboprop sound? I find his turboprop sound excellent.

I would reduce Engine sound to 50-60 in the Sound menu within MSFS for starters. The prop noise is bad on this aircraft (it uses default MSFS TBM sound which is not correct). I agree, FSR did a great job on the sounds as they were recorded in the actual actual aircraft. Hope we get an updated soudset for the TBM at some point.

So, as a temporary solution, is there a relatively easy way of asking the TBM to use the FSR500 engine sounds?
I'm no developer but presumably there is a config file somewhere that can be tweaked to do this? Of course, I am not suggesting breaking anyone's licensing agreement or upsetting anyone :-)

I think using another aircraft's engine sound is not that trivial, not to talk about the licensing issues.
However it was just confirmed that @Black-Square will cooperate with Boris Audio Works to create a custom sound set for the Turbo Duke. I hope that the TBM can benefit of this afterwards, because the current sounds are the only major downgrade for me on this excellent product.
