OAT value question and a some feedback

For performance purposes, is the OAT on the digital gauge and on the Shadin considered SAT or IOAT? I'm thinking SAT based on my observations but I just want to be sure.
Feedback: Really lovely aircraft, a couple small bugs?
- I can engage the starter with the source switch off and the crash bar down.
- I'm not seeing a Bat Off annunciation when on a GPU.
- I never see an Red/OFF flag on the RMI even when powered off.

@djd565 Here's a direct reply from the developer on this one:
'Thanks for the feedback. Honestly, I don't think MSFS is accounting for particle friction in the air temperature calculations, so I would assume the value to be true temperature. I've already fixed two of your suggestions for the next update, but I do not believe that the KI 229 RMI has an off indicator, surprisingly. The needles just rest in the vertical position when not in use. If you can find evidence to the contrary, please share it with me so I can make the change. Thank you!'

The RMI very well may not-- I haven't checked any source documents, I was just basing it off the included manual (p.30 in the printer friendly version described a flag).
MSFS does have a Total Air Temperature value integral to the sim that does calculate the ram air temp:
From the SDK:
TOTAL AIR TEMPERATURE Total air temperature is the air temperature at the front of the aircraft where the ram pressure from the speed of the aircraft is taken into account.
Feel free to pass that along-- I'm not sure how the values match up to the IRL TBM's temps.
