How can I refund the Kingair
-
I just bought the KingAir and fiddled with it over an hour to get some very basic switches working.
But there is so much stuff not working with LVars or Events or maybe it is, but with no documentation it's impossible to make it work with my cockpit, what makes it not usable for me. I don't use the mouse in the cockpit and why buying a study level aircraft, if you have to operate it with the mouse. For Exampe, the condition levers, avionics power, ...
Some other LVars looks like that may work, but the switches not moving.
I love the Baron and got everything to work, but here is so much in the dark and unsolved, sadly it's not working for me.So I would like to refund it...
Edit: Its nearly 1:00 in the morning and I figured a few things out after 4 hours. But guys... really?
Please give us documentaion... I know it's not funny to write it, but please... -
@voice-of-reason No, the general manual ist great. But you guys delivering the best study level GA aircraft mods on the market. And we spent thausands of bucks on cockpits to fullfill our dreams... and then there is no documentation on the LVars and events and maybe some of the buttons and levers are not even implemented to be controlled as an LVar.
I used 4 hours yesterday and 5 today to figure the stuff out and have a bunch of stuff left, that I am not able to control without a mouse. And I didn't know if it's even implemented to be controlled via events or LVars.
Not even core stuff like avionics power is working properly without mouse interactions.
The Baron took me a few hours too, but I managed to use it without the mouse.
The King Air is another story though. -
@lemny and don't get me wrong... I love the KA you delivered. I am planning to make a special 4-Pack engine gauge for it for the logitech FIPs if I could get the stuff to work. But I would really love to see a bit more love for the community with external hardware.

@lemny Your best bet is to open a ticket with our support team, they will then try and help by liaising with the developer. This is a message direct from the developer for you...
"I have personally worked with a growing number of King Air cockpit builders who have integrated 100% of the Analog King Air's functionality into their hardware. If you would like to get in touch with me, or any of them for advice and code, please contact support, and they will make the connection. I would love to see you enjoying the Analog King Air the way it was meant to be. I am always generous with my support for cockpit builders, because I have long wanted to build one of my own."
So a ticket to support and you should be well on the way to getting this sorted out for you.

@voice-of-reason sounds good... but I think, seeing the many threads here in the forum asking for LVars and Events for basic functions, would it not be nice and less work to give a few general infos about that stuff?
If that is not wanted, I will try a ticket...
