v0.1.1a Engines wont start, no prop animation, High Idle kills
-
@edja_spotter Yes, I keep a copy of 1.0 .. had put it in Recycle but luckily I could restore it and install.
-
Yup, same here. A shame that such an update has been released. Reverted back to initial version. It is not only the propellers also the GTN 750 won't work anymore.
-
Anyone tried 0.1.1b yet?

Could solve the problem by reverting to version 0.1.0 but now my TDS GTN750 won't switch on....
Disregard....TDS GTN 750 is working, pilot mistake with Addons linker....
-
@slarti_bart Yes....problem is solved !
-
I tried 0.1.1b.
First issue is the GTN750 with the GNS 530 on the right combination.
The GNS 530 does not function. None of the buttons do anything. When you try to switch the display combination, the GNS 530 screen goes blank and does not come back on.Regarding the Engine shut down issues, that is resolved.

@captainmd My 530 is working and engine issue seems somewhat resolved. Takes a long time for
engine to start turning.No...
The Turboprop engines on the King air are free turbines.
Simple explained, the free turbine consist of the compressor, whivh is directly coupled to the gasproducer turbine.
This assembly works more or less like a normal jet engine.
The propeller is via a gearbox connected to the free turbine, which isn´t connected to the gas producer section described above (Jet engine).
The exhaust gas flow from the gasproducer drives the free turbine i.e the propeller. When You start the engine, only the gas producer starts rotating - You can hear the engine spool up.
Once the gas flow is sufficient to drive the free turbine, the propeller starts to rotate.
