Thanks very much - I'm a big fan of the F-16 - I'm liking what I've seen so far.

    A couple of other things:

    • when you change the livery of the F-16D, the second thumbnail is a single seater, not a two-holer. [Of course once selected the aircraft is an F-16D so no real issue.]
    • I'm finding I'm having to convert weights from lb to kg using Google to load the aircraft. It stubbornly won't show either everything in kg or everything in lb.

Not really a niggle but on the aircraft marked 93 537, the fiscal year should always appear on the left so on the starboard side the AF and 93 should be to the left of 537, not right.

Took the F-16D for a flight tonight and loved it! :-)

I definitely second the issue with the '.' key, and it's hard to see in sunshine, so was constantly entering the wrong frequency. But overall, very fun jet to fly, vying with the Hawk for my 'light my hair on fire' aircraft, next to the low, slow and steady Warrior.

I really hoped the decimal would be fixed in the update, but if anything it's worse. The plane is fun to fly, but if I can't tune a radio or a navaid, I can't actually fly a flight, just take off and do loop the loops. Fun, but not a flight simulator. If there's a workaround for the decimal point not working, I'd love to know what it is.

@katchaplin We have changed the coding to fix the apparent bug, but it's only working for some users and not others. Will change again to try to fix it, but it's working fine for me. The fact that so many users have slightly different experiences suggests to me that the sim is at fault here ( base coding in some way ) but it's just so hard to tell.

CodenameJack447 figured out what the issue was, I've been messaging with him in the MSFS forums. The delay on the button was set to 0.1 instead of 1.0. He said it will be fixed in the next update, but gave me the instructions to manually change it in the meantime, and it works great!

@katchaplin Great to hear! I have also changed that entry in the main package so future updates will not have the issue. Thanks for letting us know you're back in business :)

Glad to hear the '.' button will be fixed as I am still having issues with it.

Similarly, I can't get the check list pages to work - clicking on the eye symbol doesn't show me where the relevant item is in the cockpit.

Likewise, when trying to load weapons, I am still having the same issue that I mentioned at the start.

    Fuel1 (Copy).jpg

    Fuel2 (Copy).jpg

These two images show the issue I mean with the loads. In both cases (lb or kg selected) it has kg on the right but lbs on the left, so to work out the weights I have to Google the conversions.

@hjcurtis The internal snap-to camera for checklists will be added, once I work out how it's done :) The F-16s have a very simple start-up procedure though so it's easy to remember. The "." button has been fixed in the latest update ( v0.4.0 )

Regarding the weights, there is only a certain amount of space for me to place the text - not enough to add both Kg and Lbs. It's not dynamic, so just switching to Lbs in the sim's main menu then tapping in weights is the easiest solution there. If you absolutely must have Kg, you can change the text entries in the flightmodel.cfg file, that's where they are listed.

@dc1973 Thanks for the reply and the explanation.

Thanks for the explanation about the weights - I'll have a look at the cfg file when time permits. If I can make it work, I'll upload the new version on here for anyone else using kg.

Still enjoying this aircraft so thanks again for your efforts and have a good Christmas! :-)
