F14 Flaps Issue

    I bought the f14 but … How do U set flaps ? I click my flaps button and it just goes back to 0… it seems stuck … tried clicking on flaps on left hand panel and just won’t move … any ideas ?

    @tonybero It's all in the manual. You need to have wings swept forward for flaps to function, and there are other control restrictions just like the real aircraft to avoid damaging the flaps.

    @tonybero As long as the wings are swept fully forward and the wing sweep cover is down, the flaps should operate normally on the ground. Once airborne, they operate as manoeuvre flaps for air combat, and at higher speeds auto-retract once the wings sweep back.

    If this is not happening, then I suspect there is something sim-based that is blocking them, which is currently a thing with MSFS - different people experiencing different bugs. My spoilers would not work on any aircraft for ages for instance, and then suddenly started working again.

    I checked the flap movements here and they're operating normally. Drop me another line if nothing works ( try an aircraft re-install too, sometimes that clears up these things ).
