How to bind TRP controls?

Hi, is there a way to bind the TRP knobs and buttons to hardware via AAO scripts? I think I've found variables that can read the values, but I'm afraid they're not settable.

Thanks, @PHB, but the TRP uses another set of variables (in fact there are a lot of variables related to TRP) and I've tested several and none seem to be settable.
