Fuel Vanished
-
I have raised a ticket, but has anyone come across anything like this?
I was flying from Manchester to Oslo, with over 6 tonnes of fuel loaded. I was just descending into OSLO when all engines stopped simultaneously, with corresponding failure warnings. I noticed the fuel was showing zero in all tanks.
I was surprised in that there were no warnings of low fuel, and managed to glide the plane into the airport and land, with no wheels down.
I checked my VAs logging program and the plane had 2.738 tonnes of fuel at 14:58:25, yet the engines stopped at 14:58:52 with zero fuel remaining.
I am sure I didn't do anything different from any other flight I have done in the RJ, and haven't any failures active.
Any ideas as to what might have happened? -
Ignore, I've worked out what happened. I use PF3 for ATC and the keypress for a direct is CTRL-SHIFT-D.
In MSFS the keypress SHIFT-CTRL-D toggles Dump Fuel (which I didn't know existed).
I must have pressed CTRL-SHIFT in the wrong order and dumped all the fuel!
Needless to say, I will be deleting the Dump Fuel assignation in MSFS!
