    Hi,

Firstly just want to say what a great aircraft this is, had it a week now and it is great fun.

I was hoping someone could help with a strange issue I am having on capturing the localiser during an ils approach. I am trying to do circuit training at eglc on the ils09 to get used to the steep approach path. This seems to work for the first one or two approaches but then for some reason, after that, when trying to capture the loc the plane turns 180 degrees and wants to go the opposite way to the approach course of 092.

I cannot work out why this happens as nothing has changed from the previous approach that worked perfectly. Maybe the plane had gone into the go round mode or something but I can't tell if this is the case or if I am doing something incorrectly. It is just frustrating as the same set up has worked on previous approaches during the same flight session.

Any help or insight much appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Ross.

It sounds like the aircraft may be capturing the backcourse localiser. I believe we had another customer report this a little while back, but it's proved a tricky one for us to replicate.

If this occurs again, would you be able to record a video of it (as well as the moments leading up to it) and include that in a ticket to Just Flight Support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support

I personally use the 'Instant Replay' feature in GeForce Experience for stuff like this. If that's enabled, it allows you to save a recording of the last few minutes of your screen which can be useful for behaviour such as this. Other recording software will likely also have instant replay features.

That will then help us to try and replicate that behaviour and look into developing a fix.
