VR Mouse Cursor Depth Issue in RJ Professional
-
Hello,
I only fly in VR and I’ve noticed a serious issue with the mouse interaction in the Just Flight RJ Professional. The mouse cursor doesn’t align properly with the cockpit surfaces — it appears at a different depth than the buttons. Visually, the pointer looks far away from the switches, yet when I move slightly the button still gets highlighted or selected. This makes it very awkward to interact with the cockpit in VR.
The problem is especially noticeable in certain areas of the cockpit (as shown in red in the screenshot I attached). In those spots, the depth misalignment is much worse. Interestingly, the overhead panel seems fine and behaves normally.
In other aircraft, the mouse follows the cockpit surface precisely, which makes button selection natural and accurate. For example, the Fenix A320 family, Starship, A2A Comanche, A2A Aerostar, and PMDG aircraft all work perfectly in VR. The only problematic ones I’ve found so far are the iFly 737 and now the Just Flight RJ Professional.
Since VR is the only way I fly, this is a major issue for me. I really hope I haven’t thrown my money out of the window by purchasing this aircraft, and I trust this problem will be taken care of so the RJ Professional becomes as enjoyable in VR as the others.
Thank you for looking into this.
