I don't know what I am doing wrong. Two flights and in both cases AP won't climb or descend to selected altitude. This is in FS2024 SU3 and RJ 1.4 version.

A video showing the plane stops climbing 300ft below cruise altitude. What is strange even the "1,000ft to go" buzzer sounds at 21,700ft instead of 22,000ft.

This isn't something I am able to replicate on my side, so if the behaviour persists, could I kindly ask you to raise a ticket with Just Flight Support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support

In the ticket, if you're able to provide any further information about the behaviour, ideally including the flight plan, the phase of the flight where the behaviour occurred, as well as any related screenshots/videos, then our support team will be best positioned to assist with further troubleshooting, or to pass on to the development team for further investigation.

Turning off STATE SAVING option was the solution. Now the plane is holding selected altitude as it always should.

I have had that too. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure what the state saving feature is or how it works.

It supposed to save all the switches and buttons between sessions but sometimes it can mess up the plane. When this happens the only solution is to start with default C&D panel state.
