My 2020 liveries don’t appear in the 2024 version. Do I need to convert the textures to KTX2 (sp?) ? Is that the reason?

Yes, any livery textures created for native MSFS 2024 packages must comply with the MSFS 2024 SDK and be in a .KTX2 format.
On our side, the textures are converted to the correct format within the MSFS package editor, but for community artists, there are free tools available online that will convert PNG/TIF texture files into KTX2.
