BlackSquare Remote Failure App
-
Would it be possible to use the BlackSquare failure functionality to create an app that would function as a remote instructor station? Giving a remote user the ability to connect to another user running a blacksquare addon remotely over the internet to trigger failures?

All of my aircraft have this functionality, thanks to one home cockpit builder who made the suggestion years ago. Take a look at the "Failure System HTML Interface" section of the manual. These HTML inputs are essential to many aircraft, so they are supported by many pieces of third party software, some of which can probably work remotely for shared cockpit functionality, though I can't tell you which ones. Hopefully someone else will have a suggestion.

@Black-Square I am by no means a developer or coder and have no intention to learn. But to be able to give an online atc controller an app to trigger failures at the most inopportune time for a particular client would be an amazing training tool.
I found this..
would it work?

Something like a Stream Deck and Spad.next connected to the remote flight sim computer using SimConnect should work.
WASimCommander appears to be for situations where the events or variables you need to access can't be reached via SimConnect, but the H:vars you need should be accessible.
You could try it out with Stream Deck Mobile (free version) and a Spad.next trial. I'd try with everything connected to the sim conputer first, before attempting to get it working remotely using SimConnect.
