I'm experiencing the same problems: it worked in Pd3V4, but since V5 and the 2 hotfixes, it won't open at all. I've read all the updates, but it seems that it doesn't work for everyone so I guess that's it until a fix is applied. To be sure, I downloaded the latest copy today but to no effect and everything is as it should be..... Ah well.....

Ah well.....If in doubt, contact Just Flight support.

My fear is in a couple of weeks TG will again be on the backburner and may never get to final build, and just die for P3DV5 users as i will still be using P3DV5 but may be forced to use other AI.
PS i see TG Xplane 11 getting well supported new release on the store front page. -

This software project is a total disappointment and scam for customers
What utter nonsense. If customers were disappointed and being 'scammed' we would have heard about it in the form of feedback, support issues, requests for refunds and law suits. As it is, Traffic Global is the best selling version of this software franchise so far - going right back to FS98 days. We have left it in Early Access (at a discount) until the next update is released but, as far as functionality goes, it was finished a very long time ago.
The most recent update was for P3D V5 (which was never part of the picture when we originally released it) and we have also provided new aircraft and liveries since release (along with a database update).
As a reminder, here is a list of updates, changes and fixes up to date:
https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000072306-traffic-global-changelog
Unfortunately, our lead developer was furloughed due to Covid impacting on his personal circumstances, but he has just returned and the last significant update is due out fairly soon.

I understand the disappointed people since there are no updates for a long time and the overall long period of development of this program. However, certainly not all people are disappointed with this product.
I also know other similar programs with air traffic and my personal experience with Traffic Global is very positive. Traffic Global is running smoothly and has well-processed planes with the most current liveries.
I know that in the final stage, Traffic Global will be one of the best programs with air traffic because I am a demanding person and I like the details that Traffic Global contains.I am patient and I believe that Traffic Global will be a successful project that will be completed soon.
I wish the developers good luck in completing this product.Martin

I have read the thread on the EA forum and the lack of replies from JF, they dont seem to have a problem with other projects, but i can see this having a third birthday next may still EA.
Let`s see how long it takes JF to roll something out for MSFS. -

Nonsense? Not if you've read even some of the posts in the EA forum over the past 2 years or more, Derek!
It still has plenty of unresolved issues which I seriously doubt will ever be fixed and more than a few EA users have given up and got refunds (again, see the forum).
The declared purpose of that process was to allow actual users to highlight issues that could be corrected before a final release and many of those issues remain.
For me, at least, that's where the disappointment comes from. Yes, we were given a small discount for the opportunity to get involved in the EA process but, after all this time and effort from so many participants, TG surely could have been more polished.
More than a few customers voluntarily spent their own time highlighting problems that have been 'overlooked' but it is, after all, JF's product and entirely and absolutely up to them how they develop it. I'm certain that, for the vast majority of users, TG is and will continue to be a perfectly acceptable program as many of the those issues will probably go unnoticed.
Also, this is one of the many times that Rich has 'disappeared' that is perfectly understandable and I do hope that he is all sorted.
I'm afraid that this whole process has soured me from participating in any other Early Access programs and I'm certainly no longer eager for any further updates to TG. I've discovered the completely freeware ai from AIG :slightly_smiling_face:
Anyhoooo, there are bigger things to worry about than Traffic Global now...I do hope everyone at JF is staying safe!

Hi chaps,
As was mentioned above, I am now back from furlough and working on Traffic Global again.
I'm currently working on a substantial update that hopefully I'll be able to share either with EA forum users very soon. The more recent database is now plumbed in and producing mutli-legged flights, and we've added a number of extra airliner models as a thanks for sticking with us during the EA process.
At the moment I'm adding an easy way of excluding airlines from the flight plan database so that people can keep up with airline closures etc in real-time going forward, and some other tasks such as updating the editors now that the database format has changed etc.
Soon as that is complete there will be a substantial new build ready for testing via the EA forum.
Thanks -
Hi Rich thanks for that, but i still have a hard time understanding why TG compiler will return a unavailable parking for Cargo aircraft when you know the airport has a load of cargo parking spots of the right size and code, i have tried everything including trying to trick the compiler.
This is 2018 TG KMEM today in TG not possible in V4.5 or V5 .
