Just purchased an installed. However, the icon on the menu tool bar is just a blank square and clicking it does nothing (other than paint a dot in the bottom right of the icon).

Any ideas how to get the in-game menu working?

Update: Even though menu not working, when I import my flight plan, I'm getting traffic 🙂

The missing in-game menu isn't something we have seen reported before, so our initial thoughts are that it may be related to a conflict with another mod/product.

The best way to test if this is the case will be to rename your Community folder something like "Community.old" and then create a new one named "Community" and run the FS Traffic installer through. That will allow you to test this with an empty Community folder and then revert back to your old Community folder without having to reinstall everything.

If the in-game menu then appears as expected with nothing else in the Community folder, the issue is then likely being caused by a conflict with another mod/product.

If the issue persists with nothing else in your Community folder, could I kindly ask you to raise a ticket via JustFlight support at the following link, and our support team will be able to assist with further troubleshooting: https://www.justflight.com/support

With regards to documentation, the latest version of the FS Traffic manual is available via the following link, and is also available via the "Open Manual" button within the Traffic Control Centre app: FS Traffic Manual

I've just installed the 2024 version, had a few issues, after installation I couldn't open MSFS24, I got an error code which advised me to run the XBox app repair tool, I did that and it appeared to fix the issue. I ran MS Traffic and followed the quick start guide precisely, opened MSFS24 and started a flight and the airport (EGKK Gatwick) is empty except for my aircraft so MS Traffic is not working at all for me.

@Mark thanks. So that did it. Just working through all my community add-ons now to see which one causes the issue. A looooong job 😄

@martynbrinton I have three methods, depending on how many add-ons are installed:

              1. Divide by two. Half your add-ons in, half your add-ons out. When it stops working, half of what's in comes out and keep dividing by two until you get there.

              2. Obvious stuff out. If it's an aeroplane problem, it's unlikely to be scenery that's causing the issue, so turf all the aircraft out into another location, then slowly add them back in. For FS Traffic, it could, unfortunately, be anything.

              3. Alphabetic. Take everything out (except FS Traffic, obviously) and then put things back in by starting letter until it breaks. Then you only have to take out the last letter, at least, to slowly put stuff back in.

              Hope that helps?

Hi thank you. I started a similar process and hit a point where the menu stopped working. Rolled back to a previous working state and the menu still didn't work! I now just have the 3 FSTraffic folders and it still doesn't work. I'm guessing some caching somewhere. Removed cache from my app/roaming folder but still no good. I have raised a ticket but willing to try anything.
