PA28 Arrow Flaps indication not showing in minimal cockpit view
-
A minor bug - I've just tried a flight in the updated Turbo Arrow in both MS2020 and 2024. I notice that there is no indication of flaps position if using the cockpit information panel that sits at the bottom of the screen (can't remember its proper name, sorry).
The plane seems to be flying fine, and I'm glad to be back flying it in FS2024. I haven't tried with the Arrow III or Warrior yet, I may get to those at the weekend. -
Thanks for the feedback. We have logged the flaps indication on the HUD on our internal bugs tracker to investigate further ahead of a future update to our PA28s.
With regards to aircraft lights not being visible during the day, this is sadly a limitation of how MSFS 2024 handles aircraft lighting. The lighting in all of our MSFS 2024 aircraft has been fine-tuned to have a realistic brightness level at night, which does mean that certain lights can look dim or not lit during the day. If we were to increase the brightness of the lights to make them visible during the day, then that would have the side effect of making the lights extremely bright at night.
We remain hopeful that this may be something that will be improved in future MSFS Sim Updates.
