I downloaded the update and went into the simulator. The parking brake when pulled will not keep the plane stationary. I attempted to deploy the brake when moving and it also does not activate. You can pull the handle but the plane doesn't actually slow down.

I am using SU3 Beta, so I am not sure if this is the cause or an actual bug that was introduced into the build. Using honeycomb alpha and bravo.

We don't officially support our products on the MSFS Sim Update Betas, as there are often many changes in the betas that don't reflect the final release build. We don't run the Betas ourselves, so we aren't able to say for certain if this is a behaviour that's been introduced by the latest beta, but it's not something we are able to replicate with Sim Update 2.

However, I seem to recall that parking brake issues have been caused in the past by conflicts with other products/mods in the community folder that affect the friction in the simulator.

I would recommend trying this with only the Warrior in your Community folder and seeing if the parking brake works then. You can rename your existing Community folder to something like "Community.old", then create a new community folder named "Community" and install the Warrior into it. That will allow you to revert back to the previous Community folder without having to uninstall/reinstall everything.

      Hope that helps.

To follow up on this, we have another user reporting the same behaviour with our Turbo Arrow in the latest Sim Update 3 beta. Reverting back to Sim Update 2 fixes the issue in that case, so this looks to be a bug with the Sim Update 3 beta: https://community.justflight.com/topic/8149/msfs-2024-parking-brake-problem

Hopefully, this is just a standard part of the Beta testing process, and that it will be fixed ahead of the full public release.

Thank you. I did some digging and found my issue was double key bindings that were not present in SU2 that are present in SU3 Beta with the Honeycomb Bravo. Once I deleted the keybinding, the issue resolved and I am able to use the physical handle in the sim. Thank you!
