Hi, I've been compiling my thoughts/issues with this plane as I've been learning it and just have a few small bullet points to clear up if possible. (I'm accutely aware of spamming the forum at this point so I'm combining all my other thoughts on the plane so far in this thread)

    • It seems I can move the flaps from a full cold and dark state, I'm assuming there's no way that should be possible though?

    • Everytime I turn on the autopilot it always seems to be enabling the VS hold despite me not clicking the 'secret' button. I have to click it twice to disable it and regain manual trim control. The next time I unengage/re-engage autopilot the same thing happens. I have only tested this with the gns530 because I don't use the gps100 for a reason listed below*.

That leads me onto a couple of personal issues/requests:

    • chiefly that the 'secret' buttons for VS hold and altitude hold are WAY too big and easy to accidently click, which always leads to me fighting with the plane to fix the adjustments it locks in.

    • *Also in the gps100 configuration the KX 170B cannot be set to 8.33KHz spacings making it totally unable to tune into my local frequencies without clicking the in-game ATC menus which is a sad little immersion break. I have read in an older thread that this is intended as the unit matches the IRL counterpart but given MSFS's inability to pick up 'close-enough' frequencies it leaves me with an unusable unit. Probably not much to be done here, just a sad reality. Thought I'd mention it all the same.

Thanks for your time if you read this!

Thanks for the feedback. We'll post a reply to each of your points below:

    1. The flaps in the PA28s are purely mechanical, so there is nothing to prevent them from moving in a cold and dark state.

    2. The autopilot behaviour is largely dictated by the GPS unit fitted. With the "GPS 100" fitted, there are no external GPS units fitted, and the autopilot behaves as per our code. With an external GPS unit fitted (WT GNS 430/530, PMS50 GTN750, TDS GTNXi), these GPSs feature their own custom autopilot code, so slightly different autopilot behaviour is expected.

    3. Thanks for the feedback. We'll log this on our internal feature request tracker as something to consider for a future update.

    4. Yes, the KX170B is set up to reflect the real-world configuration where it doesn't support 8.33 kHz spacing. We do have a feature request logged for this to see if we can add support for it within the current model, but we aren't able to guarantee if anything will be possible with that. In the meantime, 8.33 kHz spacing is supported on the other GPS units.
