Issues with 2024 version
-
@Mark Thanks for the response. I figured out the issue. I am using MSFS Addons Linker to manage my Community folder. The way I had my directory structure configure, I believe caused a conflict since the 2020 and 2024 versions of the planes are the same name.
After, changing the directory structure, there is no conflict and the animation is working fine.
Appreciate the quick response.

Unfortunately, it's not something we have ever seen on our side, or seen any other reports of, so we aren't sure what else to suggest other than what we have already suggested earlier in this thread. I have also asked the question to other members of our dev team, but we are all equally as stumped.
From v0.4.0 onwards, the Warrior is a native 2024 product, so it doesn't make sense to us how it can be showing in the main menu with an "MSFS 2020" tag, yet with a thumbnail that only exists in the 2024 product.
If someone else gets in touch with us who is also seeing the same behaviour, then that may help us narrow down our search for the cause, but until then, we're sadly at a bit of a dead end.

I also have the same issue with the MSFS 2024 version showing up as MSFS 2020 in the main menu. I have no pilot showing in the external view either. I tried the following. Uninstalled both 2020 and 2024. I made sure there were no files left over. I then downloaded the MSFS 2024 version only. The same result showing up in the main menu as MSFS 2020. This also happens with the Arrow. I haven't tried the turbo version yet.

Thanks for making the PA-28 Warrior MSFS 2024 compatible.
I have a few issues with the latest installer.- Pilot's arm bleeding trough aircraft external textures (left side)
- Nav lights and beacon not working allthough switch is on.
I am using the latest installer "Install_Warrior_MSFS2024_0.4.2.exe"

I would recommend following the steps outlined in the following post: https://community.justflight.com/post/36327
For any users who have a MSFS 2024 native version of the PA28s installed and are seeing "MSFS 2020" tags displayed in the main menu, I would kindly ask you to raise a ticket via Just Flight support via the following link: https://www.justflight.com/support
That way, our support team can log each of these instances and try and find a common denominator.

@skyhawk18 Thanks for reporting the pilot character clipping. It looks like each of the 2024 pilot characters has slightly different proportions, so we have logged this on our internal bug tracker to see if that is something we are able to further support.
With regards to aircraft lights not being visible during the day, this is sadly a limitation of how MSFS 2024 handles aircraft lighting. The lighting in all of our MSFS 2024 aircraft has been fine-tuned to have a realistic brightness level at night, which does mean that certain lights can look dim or not lit during the day. If we were to increase the brightness of the lights to make them visible during the day, then that would have the side effect of making the lights extremely bright at night.
We remain hopeful that this may be something that will be improved in future MSFS Sim Updates.
