I was still running Win 10. Installed the Fokker V2, went flying, everything was good and quite as in 2020.
Now I upgraded to Win 11.
While everything is working so far, the sound has changed. For example, in the "neutral" cockpit camera position I cannot hear the engines anymore, nor the airstairs.
Worst position is 90° up, looking straight up, where I can only hear some whistling wind sound in flight.

If I turn the camera to the right or left, all sounds start fading in, with the max at 90° to either side.
On the outside view it's similar. On certain positions I am not able to hear the APU running at all, for example. I checked every sound setting in windows and the sim, I updated all drivers, I reinstalled the Fokker.
Not that it's NOT the issue that I lose certain sounds, which is reported all over several forums, but it's not hearing certain sounds at certain view positions, usually the straight forward view.

    Any input on this?

Would you be able to share a screenshot of your Sound Options page (located at MSFS Options > General Options > Sound)?

Then we can take a look to see if there are any settings there that might be causing that.

As said, the only difference is the upgrade from Win 10 to 11. II did not change anything else. If you're not having an idea, I'll reinstall the sim I guess.

Consider it closed. I managed to fix it by activating 3D sound (surround sound) in the windows settings, enabled it in MSFS, and disabled it in windows again. Sounds are back to normal now!
