How to get Simbrief route into GNS430
-
As the post suggests, how do I get the MSFS or Simbrief route into the 430?
I can't use the UNS because you guys did the same thing you did to the 146-- the ATC doesn't know what altitude I filed for in Simbrief. I have a flight I want to do which has a cruising altitude of 17000, but ATC tells me to descend to 10000 before I get above 12000. I hate that you did it this way. -
The process for importing a flight plan into the GNS430 is different depending on which simulator is being used.
In MSFS 2020, a flight plan that is created in the Main Menu will be imported automatically into the GNS430 once loaded into the aircraft. In MSFS 2024, the flight plan needs to be created in the MSFS EFB and then pressing the "File Plan With ATC" and "Send Route To Avionics" buttons will send the flight plan to the GNS430.
In both simulators, we recommend that the GNS430 was pre-selected at the end of the previous flight in order for the flight plan imports to work as intended.
We have the following FAQ with steps on how to disable the MSFS ATC integration with the UNS-1: https://support.justflight.com/en/support/solutions/articles/17000145484-uns-1-how-to-disable-msfs-atc-integration

Will you ever implement this UNS/ATC solution for the 146? For the same reasons, I cannot use the UNS in the 146 either with ATC.
