Just downloaded and compiled in both 2020 and 2024 - so far everything is working 🙂

However - in 2024 (on my system) the nav lights are almost invisible until I move very close (say 20 ft) - this is at dusk. The strobes are visible further out but only just. Once I break the distance The nav light is bright and the strobes are retina scorching (which I like tbh).

It's almost as if LOD has been coded very aggressively on the lights and they just switch to "I'm miles away" mode.

Only difference between the screenshots is I translated backwards

I think this is due to the mfs2024 itself.I have this effect with all the planes.if you scroll back in the external view, the lights disappear.

yeah - suspect as much - the lighting in '24 is totally Jekyll and Hyde - sometimes it's stunning (dusk, dawn) other times it's ridiculous - bleached out, A400 tail light etc. It's still a complete bag of spanners tbh

no different in latest patch unfortunately - either full on or full off about 20ft away 😞

Yes, there's been no change to the Nav lights on our end in v0.2.1 apart from slightly reducing the Nav light intensity in MSFS 2024.

The Nav lights popping in/out of view is a behavior we see in all of our aircraft in MSFS 2024, and we believe is something being forced by the core simulator. We'll take another look once the F28 gets its native MSFS 2024 update in the near future.
