Can't Remove FMS - Route VIA text

Having just bought the RJ, I am trying to follow the text tutorial in the Ops Manual. When inputting the flight plan in the FMS RTE page, I mistakenly entered a wrong Airway in the VIA column. How do I correct it, logically using the 'Del' key then line selecting the incorrect VIA line does not delete the mistaken entry.

Just found out you can use 'DEL' on the row above the mistake, this then removes the error.
